2.1 MAILSERVERS, FROM ADDRESS AND SUBJECT LINE

Enter the server name.

Enter the email address here.

Enter the sender name instead of the actual e-mail address.
For the Web-OPAC, it is done in the alipac.cfg file, directory ../etc:

Enter the desired e-mail address. This email address also is the address for the feedback.
To use the authentification (SMPT-Auth), activate the following section by deleting the *:

Enter the method here, which is supported by your Mailserver.

Enter the user name, valid for the login (Mailserver).
Password
Enter the passwor here, valid for the login (Mailserver).
User and Password being entered as clear text.
The subject for all other prints corresponds to the forms long name. If no long name is defined, the form intern name will be used. A long name is defined for the following files in the mabtext.eng file ( ../etc am Server directory) as default::

2.2 PRINT CONFIGURATION
To send E-mails from the Client, "Normal Printing" must be set.
Click on the printericon on the bottom right of the GUI and choose Normal Printing:
To define this print as default setting, set the DefaultPrintConfig paramater to 0 ( Alephcom.ini file, alephcom/tab/ directory).

2.4 ENSURE THE PATRONS HAVE VALID E_MAIL ADDRESSES
Only users and vendors with a valid email address can receive e-mail messages. The patron's e-mail address must be defined in the "E-mail" field of the Address Details tab (User or Vendor).
